The name for this blog

The title will not surprise those who have known my roller coaster career ride. I plan to write about my experiences and opinions on the general and the mundane. My inability to be subservient to individuals when I want to submit to causes/organizations, not voice an opinion when I have a strong one, and expecting acknowledgement for demonstrated results when someone more powerful walks away with all the credit are just some of the many reasons I've had to taste a variety of jobs and organizations. My wife (maybe understandably so!) will crib forever that I did not have career like her banker sister who completes 30yrs in the same organization next month. The lack of a retirement nest that is reasonable (what is..I wonder) still eludes me at 50. To borrow an expression from gulf returnee and colleague saiprasad  ' I want to live rich not die rich'  thats impractical and foolish is what I am sure you are thinking if you have read so far. Anyway, i am working towards being a footloose freelancer, not bound by anything..no no..surely not renouncing anything at all!!  Savouring life without the chains of employment is a desire.
