Elevator Pitch 4 of ?...Events FM Radio Channel
I really do not know the legal angle on this. There are several events happening across the city in Bangalore. Just the sheer distance , driving, and parking hassles make it difficult to attend. How about a radio channel for live events like a talk by a astronaut visiting bangalore or a politician? Events like a poetry reading, press conferences and talks of all hues. Events like a business quiz or a singing competition might also be interesting.
A local channel for live local events. Some event organisers might want broadcast to be done later like maybe a rock concert, while, many others would be happy to have the event broadcast live. Whatever the case having audio access to local events will be interesting.
I have not done any survey to find if this is a good idea, am sure that validation is helpful. Just now I can only smell the great potential. What do you think?

Product: full service family reunion purpose built resort.
Place: set in the outskirts of a well connected metro. Purpose built resort that leaves you feeling like you experienced living in a large joint family in India. Halls with rolled beds, some cots for seniors, large copper vessel for hot water, hall and lawns for family activities
Price: not per person - charges per family of 50, 100, or 120. Should motivate to get more people in the family! Standard duration of three nights and two days.
Promotion:
Process: from receiving various guests, arranging activities starting from introductions, family cooking, games, puja, story telling, ...to seeing them off. Really value add is the planning and conducting custom designed activities that are for the specific family.
People: apart from housekeeping, cooking will require a specially trained and motivated activities coordinator whose performance will be key success factor. A wide network of reliable pandits, speakers, to dance trainers and movie libraries will be needed and used based on the plan of activities for a specific family.
Physical Evidence: Unique buildings, family pictures, take aways from events and many more
The nuclear family is ubiquitous, however there is a latent need to build bonds with the family. Weddings, parties are serving the purpose but just. A few hours one evening is really not good enough. Another factor is that families are now spread far and wide. If this post makes no sense to you, please do share this with someone who has lived in a joint family and le me know!
